One-third smaller than the SOMNOscreen, the new SOMNO HD provides excellent signal quality with a resolution of up to 4 kHz sampling rate per channel with up to 70 channels & 20 hours of recording duration, reduced number of cables thanks to built-in sensors for improved patient comfort.
The  high-resolution touch screen allows easy and intuitive operation. In addition, signal and impedance monitoring can be carried out directly on the display at the bedside.
Intelligent Connect
The new Intelligent Connect technology simplifies handling in the sleep laboratory by automatically self-detecting the type of sensor connected.
Intelligent Connect also allows arbitrary slots for sensors making it simple to change or add sensors during recordings.
Measurements can be started directly on the device - simply connect the desired sensors and start measuring.
Integrated sensors
To reduce the number of cables to the patient, the RIP sensor for Abdominal Effort and the Pressure Sensor are intergrated into the base unit. An innovative lateral sliding connection keeps the RIP Effort Belt securely on the device.

PIMS

PIMS is a Patient & Inventory Management System designed by us to record a patients flow through a medical department and when the patient is issued with a piece of equipment, to track the funding and service history of the equipment and any accessories supplied.

The System has various questionnaires which the patient can fill in on-line and it tracks follow-up information as the patient proceeds from initial consultation through the various diagnostic tests, to trialling different therapies, funding requests, and final issue of therapeutic equipment.

Additionally, the system provides Stock Control of all Equipment and Accessories providing costs for each item, minimum stock levels and Stock Valuation Reports.
A document Link Store is provided so that Reports from Diagnostic Tests, Machine Download Reports, scanned documents, etc. can be accessed and viewed directly from the Main Patient Record Page.

Another feature of the system is that we can capture incoming stock of equipment and accessories, issue equipment to patients and access device maintenance information using bar code scanners.

Reports are available and we provide a customisation service to design new reports. Reports currently in use provide Billing Information and Stock Control & Valuation data to the Finance Department, Purchasing Requisitions when quantities drop below pre-set levels.

Statistical data to assist with Clinical decision making and future Clinical Service Planning.

Reports can be sent to the booking office so that patients are contacted when follow-up visits are due.

Where data could possibly be duplicated on existing Hospital Information Systems, we offer a link using HL7 to synchronise required data.

Domino Analysis Software

As the user of a SOMNOscreen System, you will appreciate the Automatic Analysis and Reporting of the DOMINO Software with its ease of use, speed and flexibility.
The DOMINO Control Panel is the key to the Software. From here, all sections of the Software can be accessed, (from left to right: Measurement Initialisation, Data Transfer, Record Real-time Data and Analyse Studies, Montage-Editor, Global Settings, the optional Patient Database and Scheduler) with a single mouse click.
Immediately after Data Transfer and within 2-3 Minutes the recording is automatically analysed. Naturally, it is also possible at this time to manually edit and classify the study. The detected events are marked with colour-coded boxes in the Raw Data. Double clicking a point in the upper window takes you to the required time period in the Raw Data Window.
Interesting Events such as Min. SpO2, Max. SpO2, Max PTT increases, Max. PTT drops, Max HR increases, Max HR acceleration, Longest Apnoea, etc. are also automatically classified and displayed when the measurement is first opened.

The system provides a comfortable, quick and easy means of editing the recordings. All events are colour coded and displayed in the raw data view.
